But as conversations evolved, the project expanded to include Access Control, a Fire Alarm system upgrade, and the management of an existing intruder detection system. CCTV System: Smart Monitoring and Advanced Analytics
The CCTV system was designed following the international DORI standard (Detection, Observation, Recognition, and Identification). This ensures clear, high-quality footage with cameras strategically placed for optimal coverage.
Even with changes during the internal fit-out, the close collaboration with Crofton Interiors allowed for smooth transitions in design. The result was a system featuring 180-degree external cameras equipped with advanced analytics and active deterrence mechanisms. To enhance both security and convenience, Metro Security introduced a keyless, cardless access control system. A multi-purpose facial recognition reader was installed at the front entrance, which doubles as a video entry system. This allows staff and visitors to enter without cards or keys.
Additional facial recognition readers were installed at key entry points, ensuring secure access to offices and workshops from the visitor reception area.
Fire Alarm System Upgrade: Ensuring Life Safety
The new facility’s fire alarm system needed an upgrade, as the existing system was outdated and unsupported. Metro Security’s partners at EMS performed a comprehensive network test and supplied the pre-configured equipment necessary for a seamless installation. The upgrade resulted in a modern, wireless fire alarm system that guarantees reliable protection for everyone in the building.
Intruder Detection: Remote Diagnostics and 24/7 Monitoring
The premises already had a robust intruder detection system in place. Metro Security took over the maintenance and signalling contract, allowing them to provide remote diagnostics through their 24-hour Security Operations Center.
