Metro Security (GB) PLC, the leading fire, security and building management services provider, is kicking off 2018 with news of two headline exhibition appearances it’s making in January and May this year.
The company will be returning to the flagship Bett education show from 24-27 January (on stand A160 at the ExCeL venue in London), for the fifth year running, demonstrating its wide range of innovative protective systems specifically for the education sector.
These solutions are designed to safeguard students, teachers and site visitors, as well as ensure that site lockdowns and duty-of-care responsibilities are carried out effectively.
As a National Security Inspectorate Gold-certified installer, Metro Security’s custom-designed, cost-effective education sector risk management systems include perimeter security, intruder alarms, CCTV cameras and door access control, plus fire detection/safety alarms.
At Bett 2018 Metro Security will also be exhibiting its award-winning eyeTeach audio/visual teaching aid and self-auditing system.
Retail revolution
Meanwhile, Metro Security’s M.A.R.S (Metro Analytic Retail Solution) system will also be on-show this year, at the Retail Business Technology Expo, being held from 2-3 May at London’s Olympia exhibition hall.
Metro’s ground breaking M.A.R.S system has already slashed a major High St retailer’s ‘shrinkage’ (shop floor losses) by 70% across hundreds of its sites around both the UK and some other 20 countries throughout Europe.
This retailer’s audit costs have additionally been reduced by 65% using the system’s sophisticated use of retail transaction analytics, including customer definable auto-exception reporting to flag up anomalies requiring checks/investigation – for example, refunds over a prescribed value.
Metro Security staff will be on-hand at stand D201, demonstrating how the M.A.R.S technology also addresses loss auditing, misappropriated voids and refunds and a range of other scams – working across multiple sites simultaneously and flagging up these reports instantly.
