2015 Havering Business Award for Tokheim Eye

Tokheim Eye, the forecourt security and retail system developed by Metro Security, which brings pumps, payment and imagery equipment together, has won a 2015 Havering Business Award for Innovation. The awards scheme, which rewards excellence and innovation and recognises best practice, is now in its 11th year.
Metro Security – Tokheim’s international partner for the full range of Tokheim Eye systems – has also just won a ‘Highly Commended’ Retail Fraud Award in the ‘Most innovative in-store surveillance’ category.

Metro Security developed the Tokheim Eye technology, combining it with Tokheim’s forecourt pump fuel delivery equipment. Initially trialed at Ron Perry & Son’s two service stations near Hartlepool, further installations have included Great Gas Petroleum in Ireland and Metro Security will be announcing significant additional contracts shortly.

“Tokheim Eye is a multi-functional system designed to protect fuel sale margins by tackling shrinkage, fraud and other loss prevention issues, whilst enabling forecourt operators to implement a range of added-value operational and customer care benefits,” says Trevor Wallace, Metro Security’s Managing Director. “We were shortlisted in the national Growing Business Awards late last year and are honoured to have now won these two significant business for Tokheim Eye, which demonstrate the range of forward thinking benefits the system offers to forecourt operators.”
